Rimpy Kaur Gill (known as Mahi Gill), born on 19 December 1975 in Chandigarh, Panjab, is an Indian actress. She is best known for her role of Paro in the critically acclaimed Hindi film Dev.D.

In 1998 Mahi Gill completed her Masters in theater at Panjab University, Chandigarh. She made her screen debut in 2003 in the Punjabi based Bollywood film Hawayein. Along with theatre, the Bollywood actress went on to star in numerous Punjabi and Hindi films.

She received critical acclaim for her work in the Hindi films Dev.D (2009), Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013).

Diet

Mahi Gill mostly follows a vegetarian diet and avoids red meat. She does not eat oily or spicy food, but adds salt, for seasoning, and turmeric, for spice, to her food. Early in the morning, she drinks a mix of apple, beetroot, carrot and amla juice daily. She also has a cup of green tea after every meal. Furthermore, she drinks plenty of water every day, and does not eat after seven in the evenings.

Workout Routine

Mahi Gill works out almost every day, and does a mixture of cardio and yoga for one to one and a half hours. First, she warms up by jogging on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes. After that, she does yoga for at least half an hour, which includes breathing exercises. During her daily activities she would always take the stairs rather than using an elevator.
