Tramar Lacel Dillard (known by his stage name Flo Rida), born on 16 September 1979 in Carol City, Florida, is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. As a lead artist, he has released four studio albums and two extended plays.

Flo Rida started performing as a rapper in ninth grade when he joined the amateur rap group GroundHoggz. In 2000 he joined the American hip hop group Hot Boys and became affiliated with  Cash Money Records. His first significant release was the promotional single Birthday, featuring Rick Ross, in 2007.

In 2008 he released his breakout single Low. The same year he released his debut studio album Mail on Sunday. He is currently a best-selling music artist, with over 80 million digital downloads sold.

Diet

Flo Rida’s diet includes a lot of lean protein, like grilled chicken of grilled chicken Caesar salad. For breakfast, he prefers an egg white omelet. Before every gym workout, he has one of his own energy drinks called Flo Fusion.

Workout Routine

Flo Rida’s gym workout involves a high intensity, whole-body circuit routine, which combines isolation weightlifting, stretching and plyometrics. He also does a lot of cardio and boxing.

  • Preacher Curl
  • Dumbbell Curl into Overhead Press – He holds a pair of dumbbells at his sides and squat low to the floor. Then he stands up, curls the weights to his shoulders, and presses them overhead.
  • On Flo Ball Slam – He holds a medicine ball overhead, stands up on his toes, and explosively swing his arms down, slamming the ball into the floor. Repeat.
  • Power Flo – He mounts a dipping station with a medicine ball pressed between his feet. He performs several reps of dips then, just before reaching failure, he remains at the top position, from where he will do knee raises.
  • Sho Off – He does four reps of bench presses with his feet planted squarely on the floor, and then he pauses with the bar held at the top position. This is followed by four reps of reverse crunches without returning the bar to the rack. He then lowers his feet to the floor again and performs four more bench presses, followed by four more reverse crunches.
  • Flo Sho – He does a pushup while gripping a pair of dumbbells. When he reaches the top position, he extends one arm overhead with a dumbbell in hand. He then lowers and repeats the exercise with the opposite arm.
  • Alternating-Arm Medicine Ball Pushup
  • Wide Grip Pulldown
  • Tug of War – In a seated cable row machine, he performs one strict rep followed by one rep in which he keeps his arms extended out front and pulls the weight by leaning his torso back until his back is touching the seat pad. He continues alternating reps in this manner.
