She signed a deal with Wilhelmina Models in 2001, and with Ford Models in 2003. Since then she has appeared in numerous fashion magazines (including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Elle), but She is best known as a lingerie model for the plus-size clothing store Lane Bryant.

Ashley Graham was named the Full Figured Fashion Week’s Model of the Year for 2012. She designed a lingerie line for Canadian plus-size clothing retailer Addition Elle in 2013. In 2016 she became the first plus-size model to feature on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
